About me
KB Exercise Physiology provides highly functional exercise rehabilitation, through initially assessing a patient’s needs and then designing an appropriate exercise program. Katherine, our experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologist is passionate about promoting an active lifestyle and healthy living by empowering individuals to become responsible for their health.
KB Exercise Physiology was established in 2007 by Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Katherine Bissett. After completing her university degree and returning home to Swan Hill, Katherine was well aware that Swan Hill had few options available for individuals with injuries to exercise safely. Katherine appreciated the need to help individuals adopt a healthy lifestyle through becoming more active and so KB Exercise Physiology was born.
With seventeen years experience in the industry, Katherine has worked with many clientele over the years, specialising in chronic disease management, pre and post surgical care, cardiac rehabilitation and women's health conditions.Katherine raised the profile and importance around women’s health within the mallee region. This is a contributing factor to her success in her private practice and she continues to support women through all stages of life- including teens, antenatal and postnatal care, perimenopause, and post menopausal years.
She also offers an outreach service travelling to the small NSW community of Balranald weekly and has done so for 15 years. Katherine offers her expertise by providing an individualised approach to a patient's pain and injury management, allowing them to exercise within a private studio setting.
